The BTEC in Health and Social Care is a vocationally related qualification equivalent to one or two A Levels which helps prepare students for employment in the health or social care sectors or for higher education. Students complete a number of mandatory units (communication, health & safety, equality and diversity, human lifespan, social and psychological perspectives in health) as well as a wide range of optional and specialist units.
