This is a highly valued qualification by universities and employers alike. The project is a combination of a dissertation, a log book and a presentation. The topic you study is one of your choosing and you are coached in how to reference your work, how to research for information, how to record your notes and the best way to do a presentation. This has been a great success since introduced and is one of the elements of the AQA BACC if you so choose, otherwise the extended project can be studied as an extra qualification.
