The 1st year of Art Textiles is broad based, creative and experimental, enabling students to have a good understanding of a variety of areas within the field of textiles. It is a period of discovery as well as skill building. You should be open-minded and keen to try new things. Through critical studies students will develop their knowledge of artists and designers and where possible will visit museums and galleries. The 2nd year provides students with the opportunity to pursue personal interests. Throughout this year students will increase their skills base and work to their strengths in order to create high quality work.
