This course will extend mathematical skills and techniques encountered at GCSE. Students will develop their understanding of mathematics in order to apply these concepts to more difficult and unstructured problems. They will develop an awareness of the relevance of mathematics to other fields of study, to the world of work and to society in general. The course consists of pure and applied modules.
