Extended Diploma in Applied Science

This qualification is practical, flexible and engaging; and offers an opportunity for the in depth study of science in a more work related context yet also provides a secure and highly valued route into further study at degree level. The course includes mandatory units designed to provide a range of opportunities for students to develop their practical, analytical, research and written skills in science. Optional units include, forensic science, biomedical sciences and space science. Students have access to high quality laboratory facilities and a range of visits and opportunities for research and practical work in the locality.
