Across the two years, candidates study Anatomy and Physiology, Historical and Contemporary Issues, Sports Psychology and Skill Acquisition. These aspects are then applied to their chosen sports to enhance understanding of performance in physical activity. Assessment The exam, sat in June, includes short and long answer questions whilst the practical units are assessed by moderation and a written presentation. The theoretical aspects account for 65% of the final grade awarded at A2.
