This course offers: two major themes: Development, resources and global citizenship, Poverty and inequality. these issues are looked at from a gloval perspective with much of the framework focusing on the developing world. Lesson style: Group discussion and student presentations. Time allocation: 1 hour per week. Private study requirement: Two hours per week, often in preparing a presentation to the group. Extra curricular opportunities: Opportunity to travel to the developing world to visit our partner school in Uganda. Good combination with general studies, geography sociology.
