Philosophy is the study of ideas about what we are, the nature and meaning of existence, and the nature of the world around us.. Ultimate questions about knowledge, belief and reality are discussed. Philosophy helps students develop new skills such as independent thinking, examining information in a critical way, and forming and expressing judgements based on clear evaluation.
