The study of Art at A level can lead to a wide range of careers within a creative environment. Students can use a huge variety of techniques and work with different media to produce a portfolio of work which shows exploration, research and the acquisition of techniques and skills. Students will gain the skills and knowledge to enable them to work in a creative profession. A level Product Design at Grove enables students to follow one of two pathways, Resistant Materials or Graphic Products. The course aims to develop the student’s knowledge, understanding, skills and application for designing products and to develop a student’s ability to design and make high-quality products that are fit for purpose and enhance people’s lives as well as broaden skills in planning, research, analysis, product development, project planning and evaluation. The course can lead to a range of Higher Education and employment opportunities in design.
