Whichever is followed, it is a Resistant Materials course aiming to encourage designing through experimentation and innovation. A natural progression from the Level 2 course we deliver, it is assignment based and you will be working through a series of projects in order to gain the necessary skills to design and manufacture in a variety of materials. The course will be focused on the design process from researching, through drawing and modelling your designs to producing final products.  two years for Extended Certificate (equivalent to A Level);  two years double course for Foundation Diploma plus an associated EPQ (together equivalent to 2 A Levels)
