C10C09E: Many of us know a little bit about the Roman emperors, but what about the early history of Rome? The aim of this course is to examine the period from the foundation of Rome in 753 BC through to the fall of the Republic 700 years later. This is a course for anyone interested in the ancient world. No previous knowledge is assumed.
