C06C14BW: This course introduces the Microsoft Windows 8 environment. It will focus on the skills required to use a Windows 8 computer. It covers the start screen, the Charms, the desktop tiles, switching between windows, opening and closing Windows and looks at some of the standard Windows 8 software. This is an Entry-level course specifically for people who have not used a computer before or who have very limited experience of using computers with Windows 8 on.
