C06C13BW: This course introduces students to Microsoft Word, creating and editing simple documents. It will also focus on safe and secure use of the Internet, including basic computer maintenance and sending an email with an attachment. This course is an ideal follow on from Absolute Beginners and is aimed at those who have limited knowledge or experience of computers. It is aimed at those wishing to gain confidence in using their computer at home.

Name: COMPUTERS - BEGINNERS PLUS Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision,  ICT for Beginners / Basic Online Skills  Qualification type: Assessment You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Record (ILR) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
