BTEC IT Level 3 Extended Certificate

This course is delivered over two years covering a range of topics within the ICT curriculum. During year one students will focus on two mandatory units, Communication and Employability Skills for IT and Computer Systems. An optional unit will also be delivered then a further three optional units in year two. The optional units can change year on year depending on the cohort of students. Currently we offer Website Production, Digital Graphics, Developing Computer Games and E-Commerce. For each unit we draw on a range of skills which are applied to real life situations or simulated scenarios to give students a flavour of the world of ICT.
