This course aims to provide students with a sound, basic business education showing how many factors shape the nature of organisations operating in an increasingly complex business world. The management of resources, human, physical, technological and financial and how they can impact on business performance. The importance that the role of communication plays and that of research, planning and marketing. Their knowledge of an important issue of today, Health and Safety, is also developed. A BTEC course is a practical work-related course, where students learn about business by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations and activities.
