IT Diploma OCR Level 3

This is a two-year vocational course comprising OCR Cambridge Technical qualifications in Business Studies and ICT. The Business Studies qualification is equivalent to three A Levels and the ICT qualification is equivalent to one A Level, giving successful students four in total at the end of the 2 year course. In Business Studies students will study the Subsidiary Diploma in Year 12 and upon successful completion of the course progress to the Extended Diploma in Year 13. In ICT Students will study the Certificate in year 12 and progress to the Introductory Diploma in Year 13. This qualification encourages in depth study of Business and ICT in the modern workplace and gives an insight into its role in specialist careers. The majority of this course is continually assessed through coursework, based on the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in Business and ICT careers Students will study a wide range of units. Some of these could include: ICT - Computer and Information Systems, Animation, Website Production, Computer Game Platforms and Production, Computer Networks and IT Technical Support. Business Studies – Practical Business and IT Skills, Communication and Problem Solving Skills, Office Administration, Working in Distribution & Manufacturing and E Commerce. As well as many more.
