Law A Level

UPDATED 20161011 12:11:39

Law is an academic, challenging and practical subject and it is well respected by universities as a good basis for studying anything as it teaches you a wide variety of skills, such as essay writing, research and analysis. Law is all around you! How did you get here? by road? Speed limits - set by law. Number of people allowed on the bus - set by law. Fare - set by law. Qualified driver - set by law.... and that is just a few examples. You will study units including the English legal system (an insight into the personnel of the courts and an understanding of the court mechanism) and criminal law (a detailed study into the law of murder, manslaughter, theft, robbery, burglary and assaults).
