Philosophy AS level

UPDATED 20160927 11:37:43

What is Philosophy? (Philo = love; Sophia = wisdom) = the love of wisdom. Topics studied include - what really exists? - can we know anything? - what does ‘right and wrong’ mean? - does life has any meaning? - is death is the end? A philosopher asks deceptively simple questions which never seem to have simple answers. There isn’t much you can assume or take for granted in Philosophical debate.
