On this practical course you will develop personal skills, including independent thinking, problem solving and team working and an understanding of new technologies. You will look at areas such as: using mobile IT devices, improving productivity using IT, imaging software. You will also study English and maths at level 1 and a personal and social development certificate. You will be involved in a number of different learning techniques, including: short lectures, demonstrations, self-directed study, practical work, tutorials, online activities. You'll be able to access resources relating to your course using the college Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle).
