To achieve this qualification, students must complete a total of 180 credits. Students must achieve seven mandatory units along with 120 credits from optional units. Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care • Unit 4 Development Through the Life stages • Unit 5 Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care • Unit 6 Sociological Perspectives for Health and Social Care • Unit 7 Psychological Perspectives for Health and Social Care A period of work experience is also an important component of this course.
