1st Year - The course is structured around the completion of nine units (unit one mandatory). Topics will include – Art & Design in Context, -Exploring how artists and designers use 3D materials, techniques and processes, -Branding and Corporate design and - Presenting, displaying, promoting and selling work. 2nd Year – Students will study an additional nine units in their final year. Topics include carving, constructing and modelling 3D artwork, creating 3D art or design work and 3D product design. On successful completion, students will be awarded an OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Art and Design. Throughout the duration of the course, students will also undertake a series of industrial / educational trips.
