This Apprenticeship provides training for the role of Early Year's Educator, whilst gaining a qualification at the same time. You will attend a work placements for 4 days and College for the remaining 1 day of the week, where you will learn the under pinning knowledge and theory you need to support your practical training. As this course is predominately a work placement, as an apprentice you will spend between 30-40 hours a week in a working environment. You will study a range of core units and will also be able to choose a range of optional units to suit your placement needs. You will learn about the national legislation and policy that supports children in the Early Year's sector and how to support children's learning and development. During your apprenticeship you will also receive tuitions and presentations from various professionals. As a Boston College student you will have access to new library facilities and IT equipment. A variety of food and drinks from the College coffee shop, bistro and canteen. The College also provides free parking and learners during term time and recreational activities.
