This Level 1 course is designed for students who wish to gain a fitness qualification to further their career aspirations in the fitness industry, or prepare them for further training or education. It is offered to all full-time sports students and can be taken independently by part time learners. To gain the Certificate you will complete modules in: Exercise and Fitness Knowledge; Participating in Physical Activity; Exploring Personal Fitness; Understanding the Health and Fitness Industry; Assist in the Delivery of an Exercise Session. Teaching and learning will take place in both gym and classrooms.
