This course is designed to provide you with a variety of skills for the world's largest industry. You will study areas of the tourism industry including: customer service, business, marketing, destinations, travelling, and cabin crew. It combines class work with opportunities to carry out practical work, visit tourist attractions and prepare for work in these specialised areas. You will study 6 units in the first year (a Subsidiary Diploma) and then progress onto Year 2 to complete a further 6 units which can be found on Boston College website. Additional subjects studied are: City and Guilds Level 2 certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew, Spanish Entry 3 Double Award, City and Guilds Award in Worldwide Travel and Tourism destinations, City and Guilds Award in UK Travel and Tourism Destinations, City and Guilds Award in Travel and Tourism Support services. The course will include role plays, presentations, group work and the completion of practical tasks.
