This course is aimed at anyone who is interested in animal care and husbandry. You will complete both practical and theory based units such as animal biology, animal behaviour and handling and health and welfare. During your time on the course you will undertake work related experience in the land-based industries, maintain animal accommodation, undertake practical animal feeding, maintain animal health and welfare as well as optional units such as animal biology, behaviour and handling and horse care.
