Film Studies

This is an ideal course for students who enjoy watching films, understanding how and why they are made and researching the industry behind successful British and American films. Lessons will involve detailed study of film techniques, how films are marketed, the star system and various Hollywood films. The course allows you to draw from your own personal experience of film and make comparisons with the film ‘texts’ studied.
