Course information

Name: Applied Science Double Award Qualification title: GCE A Level in Applied Science (Double Award) Qualification type: Assessment BTEC National units are assessed internally (All internal assessment is quality assured through a combination of internal verification (carried out in the centre) and external verification (sampling) which we carry out annually to ensure all centres are assessing consistently to the national standard. Students’ work is assessed during the course, with each individual unit graded as a Pass, Merit or Distinction. This ongoing assessment means students can analyse and improve their own performance on a continuing basis, just as they would in the workplace.
