History (Edexcel) Through the study of both British and European units from Tudor times through to the 20th century, students of History use their passion for the subject, along with a wide range of contemporary and modern interpretations, to explore the implications of the past. This course nurtures an enquiring mind and generates opportunities develop analytical skills through the lively debate of issues relating to power, authority, discrimination, political, social, cultural and economic changes and their impacts. The skills and knowledge you develop enable you to achieve academically, to think for yourself and to apply for a wide range of careers where History is highly prized.
