The aim of this programme is to develop your knowledge of working within the Uniformed Public Services. The qualification will prepare you for entry to one of the Public Services Professions. You will study a range of units that will develop your transferable skills, such as communication, problem solving, teamwork and independence. The skills that the course aims to develop will ensure that you are able to progress in to the world of work, or to university.

Name: Public Services (Uniformed) Qualification title: Extended Diploma in Public Services (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Written assignments, presentations both poster and oral, and synoptic end unit assessments, are all assessment techniques used on this programme. The programme is continuously assessed and equivalent to three A Levels. Each module carries three assessments which contribute to overall module grades at Pass, Merit or Distinction.
