Media Studies

UPDATED 20150922 11:15:41

This course should appeal to anyone who is interested in society, people, communication, current affairs and the creative use of technology. It works well with most other subjects, but particularly well with communication or arts based courses such as English, Theatre Studies, Art and Design, Business Studies and Photography. It is a study of contemporary broadcast, digital and print based media. It will also cover the ways in which Media constructs messages and the influence these have on people in society. In each year there is a practical hands-on component.
