UPDATED 20161102 12:10:53

Chemistry is one of the fundamental ways that we can learn about our environment, what makes things work and even life itself. It is a requirement for a number of important careers and useful for a great many more. Obviously Chemistry fits well with the other Science disciplines and also with Maths. It is essential for a great many degrees in related subjects. Our aim is to turn out students who have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the subject and are able to think through problems in a scientific way. Chemistry is essentially a practical subject. The aim is to let the students do as much practical investigation as possible.
