UPDATED 20161007 11:49:35

Mathematics is a very highly respected A-level and essential for numerous courses of further study. At Haybridge, we have the advantage of teachers specialising in all the areas of advanced mathematics, so alongside pure (core) maths we can offer statistics, applicable to everything from Social Sciences to Medicine, and mechanics, applicable to Engineering, Architecture and Physics-related disciplines. A Level Mathematics is now the most popular course offered at Haybridge, and around half of our students achieve an A* or A grade. You will benefit from the following resources and facilities: experienced, specialist teachers of all modules. textbooks, notes, online resources. dedicated Mathematics rooms, with interactive whiteboards. departmental computer suite with sixth form study area. Mathematics is a challenging and highly rewarding subject to study. It opens doors to careers such as Medicine, Engineering, Finance, various Sciences, Computing, Economics, Psychology and more. However it should not be forgotten as a standalone subject, with the call for career mathematicians increasing rapidly, especially in the age of big data and the internet. We pride ourselves in fostering a love of mathematics in our students, and have had over thirty students go on to read a degree in mathematics in the last three years alone.
