The course is centred around three key skills; • PERFORMANCE • CHOROEGRAPHY • CRITICAL ENGAGEMENT (appreciating dance) Students will develop, through the experience of practical and theoretical lessons: • technical and performance skills • the process and art of choreography • the interrelationship between the creation, presentation and viewing of dance works • the artistic and cultural development of dance • professional dance works and the significance of these works • subject specific terminology and its use.
