You will look at the world of Business from both an internal and external point of view. You will get inside and learn how firms are internally structured and the role of the key functional areas such as—Marketing, HRM, Operations and Finance. You will also learn about external factors such as why firms consider the Government to be rather like a brother or sister because they are always trying to mess things up, interfere and generally get in the way of the Entrepreneur trying to make an honest buck. You will learn about the Economy and why external factors such as changes in Interest Rates, Inflation, Exchange Rates and Unemployment can affect firms in both positive and negative ways You will learn about the importance of the European Union, the single currency and why the UK is really only a member state in order to make sure that there is always a spanner in the works so good ideas don’t work properly. You will also learn many interesting success stories and some amazing true facts but you will not learn how to make easy millions because if we knew that we would not be sat here telling you how to do it now would we!
