The whole course covers World History over a 500 year period and follows the AQA specification. At Year 12 and 13 students study Russian History, covering the period from 1855 to 1945. This requires the preparation of one written examination based on a choice of four questions. Students will have a choice of writing an extended essay on either US History or the French Revolution. This will be under taken independently. Your teachers will help you choose a question and provide you with extensive support. The Angevin King of England is our second course. This explores the reigns of King Henry II, Richard I and King John. We explore the legal and political changes these monarchs made to England.
