A Level Architecture All Hallows Sixth Form College is very proud to be the first institution in the area to offer a creative A Level focused purely on the exploration, critique and design of the built environment. A Level Architecture is an art specialist subject that uses as its basis the OCR Critical and Contextual Studies in Art specification. It is a practical design based course which incorporates the conception and realisation of ideas underpinned with theory and technical understanding. The course is cross curricular and will have both art, design and engineering components ensuring that every students has the breadth of understanding required to create imaginative structures that have their grounding in reality. Students will create a journal record of their ideas, research and field trips and will produce a portfolio of work to include drawings, computer aided imaging and 3D models.
