The course enables learners to develop IT skills appropriate for use in education, training, employment and in their personal lives. The course can: prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level or requiring more specific knowledge, skills and understanding; prepare learners for employment; support a role in the workplace; encourage engagement in learning. The course is designed to enable learners to acquire and apply a range of IT User Skills that will help them to work productively and efficiently.
