This course will develop listening and communication skills for use at work or in life, for those wanting to give counsel with regards to people and relationships. Those interested in people and relationships. You need to be interested in developing your listening and communication skills to use in your work or life. Students need to be prepared to learn about themselves and about themselves in relation to others. Listening skills, communication skills, self awareness exercises, triad role-plays, group discussion. Students are expected to keep a weekly journal and write 2 short assignments. To obtain the certificate you will need to produce a portfolio of the course work and the external assessment which is set by the awarding body .
