The course aims to give students a wide knowledge of psychology and a sound understanding of psychological issues, debates and perspectives. At AS students will study four fascinating areas: social influence, attachment psychopathology and memory as well as learn how to conduct appropriately designed research and get a grounding in the various approaches which can be used to explain the diversity of human thoughts and behaviours. At A2 students will have the opportunity to learn about some of the following: Relationships, Gender, Cognition and development, Schizophrenia, Eating behaviour , Stress , Aggression , Forensic psychology and Addiction.
