Learn the essential skills needed to make the most of your money. You will look at income and expenditure and planning future spending and find out where to get the best money and debt advice. Topics covered include: budgeting; saving; paying bills; identifying sources of income and key items of expenditure and recording both on a simple budget plan; understanding the term ‘value for money’ and calculating best offers; using and brushing up on relevant maths skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; using money calculations and percentages; identifying sources of advice and support for financial matters.
