The Level 1 Diploma in Animal Care programme is delivered at the Lackham campus and offers a wide range of specialist subjects and practical experiences in animal care.You will get involved in a number of exciting experiences in routine animal handling within the animal centre, organic farm, dog grooming parlour and Blue Cross rehoming cattery. You will work with a wide variety of domestic and exotic animals and will also take part in innovative projects such as within our new Zoological Garden.This course provide the opportunity to develop a practical understanding and ability of how to care for a range of animals. Theory and practical lessons will cover a wide range of subjects and are enriched with extraordinary experiences.
