AAT Diploma in Accounting Technicians Level 3

UPDATED 20150918 08:49:52

The AAT qualification is well known and widely respected. Accountants registered as members of the AAT undertake roles of responsibility in a variety of public and private sector organisations. This course is aimed at students wishing to demonstrate competence in an accounting environment and/or wishing to go through to the final stage and qualify for membership of the AAT. Students need not necessarily be employed in an accounts position, but relevant employment is an advantage by providing familiarity for a number of units and there is some limited opportunity to use workplace evidence for assessment. IMPORTANT: If you have been involved in bankruptcy or IVA proceedings you must contact AAT as soon as possible to obtain approval before you enrol on the course. In most cases you will still be able to commence your studies. The approval process may take six weeks or longer in some cases.

Course information

Name: AAT Diploma in Accounting Technicians Level 3 Qualification title: Diploma in Accounting (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Each unit is assessed by means of an online assessment. Two units, Professional Ethics and Spreadsheet Software, are internally assessed by your tutor. All other units are externally assessed by means of a computer-based assessment. Assessments are spread through the year. Your tutor will teach a topic in class and will follow this up with example questions that give you plenty of opportunity to practice what you have learnt. You will need to complete these questions for homework. We strongly recommend you allow adequate time each week to complete your homework and review the previous week's learning - this will help you to be fully prepared for new learning in the following week's lesson. Once all six assessments have been achieved you will be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. Awarding Association of Accounting Technicians Created 20150918 08:49:52 Updated 20150918 08:49:52
