AS Level Computing

It is impossible to over-emphasise the role that computers play in the modern day world. A Level computing will give you a valuable insight into the inner workings of computer systems, from the internet to your smartphone and home computers. You will do a lot of practical work, gaining skills in using modern software and in particular, in learning to write useful, working computer programs in visual basic. Understanding how to write programs will be useful to those who intend to study mathematics, science and engineering at university. Of course, A Level computing provides an excellent introduction for computer science and IT degrees.
