A Level Sociology

UPDATED 20160928 14:49:04

Sociology attempts to explain why people think and behave in the way they do. It does this by examining social relationships, dissecting social phenomenon and examining the world around us from all perspectives. In Sociology you will learn to analyse many taken-for-granted assumptions that you hold about the social world. As a result you should reach a fuller understanding about your social environment, and acquire ideas that may direct your thoughts about the world we live in. Sociology is about asking questions, seeking explanations and developing understanding about how society works.
