Film Studies

UPDATED 20160909 10:09:35

Film Studies identifies how meaning is created by film-makers and its impact on the spectator, exploring film as both a form of artistic expression and as an industry. Analytical skills and creative skills will develop through storyboarding, script writing and film-making. Texts studied range from the early cinema of the 20th century right through to modern day blockbusters, tackling world cinema and British cinema too.
