Advanced Biology is, and always has been, a universally valued academic subject; accepted by all Further and Higher Education establishments, as well as being a fascinating study in its own right. Units of Work The AS Modules are: Biological molecules Cells Organisms exchange substances with their environment Genetic information, variation and relationships between organisms. The two written examinations will each last 1 hour and thirty minutes, and consist of short answer and comprehension questions. Practical skills will be assessed in the written exams. Any content from the four topics will be assessed in each examination.
