This course involves the scientific study of mind and behaviour, looking at how and why people behave the way they do. You will learn about the different approaches to psychology and some key research studies, as well as developing the skills required to design a small scale psychological research project. You will also be encouraged to discuss human behaviour and to evaluate the explanations that have been proposed within psychology.
