There is no denying the importance of media or how much we have come to rely on it. This course looks holistically at the institutions behind various media platforms and the audiences that consume them. The way people, places and events are represented will play a large part of the course and you will also focus on different platforms and how they have come to converge alongside the study of media language. Throughout the course you will be given the opportunity to study music videos, video games, advertising, film marketing, newspapers and news / current affairs programmes.
