Mathematical Studies is a new course that has been developed for students who want to keep up their valuable Mathematics skills, but are not planning on taking AS or A Level Mathematics. At the end of the one year course you will be awarded a Level 3 qualification with the same UCAS points as an AS Level. Mathematical studies includes content that will help you understand and apply clear, mathematical reasoning to real-life problems, analyse and interpret data in various contexts, as well as confidently deal with everyday financial mathematics, including bank accounts, Income tax and National Insurance and credit cards.
