This course will suit if you are a more confident speaker but feel you need to brush up your reading and writing. This class will help you improve your understanding of punctuation and the best way to read, understand and say unknown words when reading, spelling, writing and speaking. The topics used will meet your needs and interests focusing on English skills needed to support your for learning, family and work or to help keep you healthy. You will use computers and look at some everyday maths skills we use when reading. Gain a qualification at Entry Level 3. This is for you if you have skills at Entry level 2, possibly with some at Entry level 3.There are regular points in the year you can join the class if there are spaces. The learner's journey will be as follows: an induction and skills review period followed by learning assessed by one or two qualifications. You will need to be referred by your tutor at progression enrolment or have had an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser before enrolling on this course.
